Note: I'm mostly posting the more fluffy entries first, as some of the other stuff will require me getting out Photoshop to clean up sketches/photographs
I got to see Eliza Dushku and the pilot of her new show "Tru Calling." The pilot was actually pretty good, though the style felt very borrowed (imagine CSI photography with Run Lola Run dynamics and Early Edition concept). The pilot episode featured Tru saving a woman played by Hudson Leick of Xena fame. Apparently saving one person wasn't enough, so Tru had to spend the entire episode running to where her brother was, helping him, running to where her sister was, helping her, running to where Hudson's character was, etc... One audience member asked a very appropriate question: "When are you going to give Tru a car?" (they will probably get rid of the Run Lola Run stuff in later episodes).
Dushku came off very much like her acting on TV. There was no 5x5, but the personality felt exactly the same.
