Our little city of Mountain View is going to be the first city to receieve free city-wide Google wireless. Just think, I could convert my R/C to run off of 802.11.

Wasn't that part of the point? Or had that idea been put solidly aside?

This car wasn't purchased for that purpose -- it is only designed to run on flat streets. The base kit goes 20mph, but you can upgrade it to 40mph. Not the easiest for indoor travel. But now that Google will be blanketing the streets of MV, new possibilities open up (that will probably involve me damaging expensive gear)
