My favorite sight flying into the Bay Area are the Cargill salt beds. Many of those beds are in the process of being returned to wildlife refuges and the Mercury News has an article about the 50 year, $1 billion plan in the works. Although I'll miss the colors that high salinity can bring, I look forward to more wetland trails and wild life.
