I'm a part-time freelance cycling photographer living in the NorCal Bay Area-- I like taking photos and I like riding my bike, so often I do both.

In 2007 I covered the Tour of California, Sea Otter Classic, and Tour of Missouri, as well as many local NorCal events. My worked appeared in various issues of Road Bike Action (cover, spreads, and in-article) as well as a two-page "Off the Front" spread in VeloNews. Spare Cycles started off as a few entries on my blog where I wrote about the Tour de France. Since then it's evolved into something of its own where you'll find a mixture of photos, race coverage, NorCal cycling news, and other miscellaneous bike bits.
