It was a startup. We failed. In retrospect, what we tried to do seemed dumb (and yet still crops up in other places even today, and not much better I might add), but in the euphoria of the times seemed right. We pushed ourselves to the limit, learned a lot about ourselves, each other, businesses, business plans, venture capitalists, markets, incorporation, sleep deprivation, software development, caffeine, ego, and failure.
I learned more during those 6 months than I ever learned in a semester, or even a year in college, so in hindsight I can say that it was the best semester of classes that I ever took.
